Ten Muslim women, ten monologues. One of them, a law student, hard working, dedicated, who admires Osama bin Laden, rants about the "Pork eaters" and "uneducated bourgeois", and dreams of an Islamic renaissance. Another one ran away from home after having an affair with the neighbor: "I am still fucking, because I know it doesn't hurt my faith... I am an Islamist who looks like a party girl.» A third one, a Christian woman who converted to Islam, doesn't like foreigners: "I am German, and I won't allow some cheap Turks to stink up my faith"

"In a society that is rattled by an integration crisis and threatened by fundamentalism, these neo-Muslim women are close to the bone. For one, some of the opinions are as radical as they are stupid. And also, because their pride and fury belie the image of the demure, bashful little woman. And finally, because underneath all this loom experiences and wounds surely provoked by a climate saturated with prejudice and problems of living between two cultures.» (Theater Heute)
