Ophelia lives with her father. She wants to be his one and only, longs for his presence and almost dies of fear at the same time. Shut up and all alone, Ophelia reinvents her family, resurrecting her mother from the dead and creating a brother with whom she carefully, gently falls in love. “A deeply moving study on love and power, dependence and the freedom of imagination, which neither loses itself in a private relationship drama nor moralizes (…) a fabulous, intensive and moving play.” (Die Tageszeitung)
